¡¹    Shenzhen is the gateway to China for food imports and exports

The robust consumption in Shenzhen is supported by annual per-capita income of RMB28,000 in Pear River Delta and 300 million consumers in South China.. Shenzhen, where exotic delicacies are readily accessible and key customers are available for Sino-foreign food industry, is the hub for economic and cultural interchange between China and foreign countries. Shenzhen¡¦s consumption level is 3 to 5 times that of the national average and serves as an important channel for China¡¦s total trade. Shenzhen has ranked the first in terms of total trade volume among major cities in China for 14 years in succession. In addition, Shenzhen is also the portal to multi-national purchasing events. 

¡¹    China Food Fair of the mega size in Shenzhen serves as the best platform for the food industry to make inroads into China market

The Fair of 30,000 sq.m. in exhibition area and 1,100 standard booths is one of the largest theme exhibitions in China. It will arouse the zealous participation by people and the industry to attract 30,000 person-times for professional visitors and 200,000 person-times for public audience. About 20 countries and regions will join the Fair as exhibitors and purchasing missions.

The Fair is dovetailed with China Import and Export Fair (in Guangzhou) and China Hi-Tech Fair (in Shenzhen) in terms of the prime time for exhibitions in South China. Buyers from China and abroad mingle and attend the Fair when consumers from Hong Kong and Macau are on buying spree on the heels of  Halloween, Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year. The Fair is to bring about a peak in food promotional activities.
